Am I funny?
The results are in and turns out… I AM!
I managed to secure a spot at an Open Mic on December 11, 2023 – and oh boy I was nervous! But I did it. And not only did I do it, I remembered everything except one word, I stuck to my allocated time, I made people laugh, and the host invited me back on the spot! How’s that for a debut?!
Also – I loved it. I freaking loved it. I am soaking everything up that I can. It is exactly what I have missed in my life, and I can’t wait to see what I can do with this.
As I am not really great at getting my blog posts in – maybe it will get better if I manage to stop overthink everything (which I hope comedy can help me with) – but at least as a supplement, I have started talking about my journey in my chaos podcast ‘PĆ„ vej med Vej‘. At the time of this writing, I’ve been on 7 Open Mics in 5 different locations – I’ve been promised a spot soon at a 6th location, and I am crossing everything I have, that this is gonna take off! š
Obviously also have ideas for events and possibilities myself, but will share more about that later. š
